Bhadang Recipe

Bhadang is a evening authentic Maharashtrian snack prepared from Puffed rice.


1.Puffed rice – 1/4 kg

2. Ground nuts – 2 handful

3.Red chilli powder – 2 tbsp

4. Sugar – 1/2 cup

5.Curry leaves few

6.Asfoetida – pinch

7.Turmaric powder – 1tbsp

8.Oil – 1/2 cup

9. Salt – 1 tbsp.


1.Heat oil in pan season it with mastard seed jeera, ground nut keep stirring.

2.Add turmaric powder ,asfoetida, curry leaves, chilli powder.

3. Add murmura, mix well then add salt and powdered sugar.
