Gulab jamun is a milk-solid-based sweet which is popular in India. With milk powder you can prepare instant gulab jamun at home and enjoy.
1.Milk powder – 1 cup
2.Maida -1/2 cup
3.Baking soda -1/2 tbsp
4.Ghee -2 tbsp
5.Milk -1/4 cup( for making dough)
6.Sugar- 1&1/2 cup
7.Water – 2 cup
8.Cardmom -3 pods
9.Kesar strands – few strands
10.Oil for frying
1.Add milk powder,maida,soda,ghee mix well , by adding Little by little milk make a soft dough.
2.Rest it for 10 minutes.
3.To make sugar syrup add the above mentioned sugar and water boil for 15 minutes.
4.Add crushed cardmom and kesar for additional flavour.
5.Make small balls around 30,while making balls press gently under palm,there should not be any cracks and deep fry untill brown colour.
6.Transfer fried jamun into sugar syrup.lt absorbs syrup and the yummy juicy jamuna is ready.
