Kadugogare-Coconut tamarind rice

Easy to make traditional recipe of South India, coconut tamarind rice is good for breakfast and side item for lunch. Prepare this easy recipe and enjoy.

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 kg cooked rice
  • 1 cup grated coconut
  • 1 tbsp groundnut
  • 4 red chillies or  1 tsp  red chilli powder
  • 1/4 cup tamarind pulp
  • 1tsp  mustard seeds
  • Jaggery for sweetness
  • Pinch of turmeric powder
  • Oil for seasoning

    Method :

    Grind jaggery, tamarind pulp,  turmeric powder together .
    Mix the rice with grind paste.
    Season it with mustard seeds,  ground nut,  chilli powder, and curry leaves.
