Methi puri is a crunchy deep-fried Indian bread made with plain flour and crushed methi (fenugreek) leaves.
1.Methi leaves -1 small bunch
2.Wheat flour – 2 cups
3.Green chillies -2
4.Pepper – 1/2 tbsp
5.Jeera -1/2 tbsp
6.Coriander leaves – few
7.Curry leaves – few
8.Salt -1/2 tbsp
9.Oil for for frying
1.Make a fine paste of green chilli,jeera, pepper.
2.Wash and then chop the methi leaves into small.
3.Take a bowl add wheat flour, chopped methi leaves, chilli paste,coriander and curry leaves,salt, turmeric, little hot oil.
4.Mix well rubbing under both palm.
5.Adding little by little water make a dough like chapati.
6.Make small size balls.
7.Roll it to size of small Puri and fry both side.
8.Methi Puri can be served with curd or coconut chutney.
