Pudina Rice recipe

Pudina rice or Mint leaves rice is a tasty, healthful, and aromatic Indian dish prepared with rice, mint leaves, and spices.

1.Rice – 1 cup
2.Pudina or Mint leaves – 1 small bunch
3.Grated coconut – 1/4 cup
4.Ginger-1 inch piece
5.Green chilli -3
6.Pepper -1/2 tbsp
7.Cloves – 3
8.Cinnamon -2 inch
9.Bay leaf -2
11.cumin seed -1/2 tbsp
12.Salt – 1/2 tbsp
13.Oil – 5 tbsp
14.coriander leaves – few

1.Wash the rice and let it soak for 15 min
2.Take coriander leaves,pudina,ginger, coconut,green chilli in mixer jar and make fine paste.
3.Add oil in cooker then pepper, cinnamon,bay leaf cloves,cumin seeds and stirr for a minute.
4.Put pudina paste soaked rice ,fry for a while
5.lastly add salt and 2 cup of water then close the lid .
6.Switch off the flame when 3 whistle is done
7.pudina rice is ready it can be served with ghee.
