|Dahi bhindi is a delicious and easy to make dish of okra that is gently cooked and stir-fried in a delicate, creamy, slightly spicy curd/yogurt sauce.
1.Bhindi or okra -10
2.Curd -2 cup
3.Green chilli -2
4.Mustard seed – 1/2 tbsp
5.Cumin seed -1/2 tbsp
6.Curry leaves – few
7.Coriander leaves few
8 Hing – pinch
9.Turmeric powder -1/2 tbsp
10.Salt -1/4 tbsp
11.Oil – 4 tbsp
1.Cut the bhindi into 1 inch piece
2.Fry the bhindi by adding little oil and keep aside.
3.In a pan add remaining oil season it with mustard seed when it splutters add cumin seeds curry leaves,hing, green chilli, turmeric powder then okra and stir it.
4.Finally turn off the flame then add curd and chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
5.Curd should not be added when flame is on.
